Dr. Kamal Vaid, D.C., also known as “Doc V” a proud native of Chicago, serves as the Healthcare Director and Chief Physician at The DOC of West Loop in the vibrant West Loop neighborhood.
Dr. Vaid earned his Bachelor’s degree in Community Health & Wellness and Physiology from Northeastern Illinois University before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree at the National University of Health Sciences. During his studies, with a focus on functional neurology, he developed a deep interest in integrative and evidence-based approaches to medicine. His expertise spans various emerging fields, including functional rehabilitation, functional medicine, sports medicine, strength & conditioning, pediatric care and acupuncture.
In addition to his degrees, Dr. Vaid has advanced training in areas such as pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization therapy, diagnostic ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system, functional sports rehab, functional medicine, pediatric care, Webster technique and functional neurology.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Vaid is dedicated to researching chronic and autoimmune conditions. He enjoys reading, playing the guitar, watching movies, and staying physically fit.
Passionate about educating the community, he is committed to promoting the benefits of Chiropractic and Integrative Medicine.
