Dr. Kamal Vaid, D.C., also known as “Doc V” a proud native of Chicago, serves as the Healthcare Director and Chief Physician at The DOC of West Loop in the vibrant West Loop neighborhood.
Dr. Vaid earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from the National University of Health Sciences. Throughout his training, he developed a genuine passion for integrative and evidence-based care, aiming to support patients in achieving lasting health and wellness through both holistic and science rooted medicine.
His expertise spans multiple areas, including functional medicine & nutrition, functional neurology, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, advanced biomechanics, prenatal and pediatric care, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine. He brings these diverse skills together to provide personalized care that addresses the whole person, not just their symptoms. Dr. Vaid strongly believes that structure dictates function, and that addressing the root cause—both biomechanically and biochemically—is essential for lasting health and longevity.
In addition to his degrees, Dr. Vaid has advanced training in areas such as functional medicine, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization therapy, diagnostic ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system, functional sports rehab, applied biomechanics, pediatric care, Webster technique for pregnancies and functional neurology.
